CatSue McBroom

CatSue McBroom

Inspired by childhood summers spent on the sandy beaches in Southampton, Ontario;  CatSue created Chantry Island Design in 1998.

The “Chantry Island Design” label is a collection of beach inspired casual clothes, including the classic beach cabana shirt in a Hawaiian print. Also available are vests lined in terry in retro-style prints such as fishing lures and signposts.  Other top sellers include adult robes and children’s one-piece rompers. Home furnishings include hand painted signs on paddles and on old re-claimed wood. (Custom designs also available)

The “CatSue McBroom” label consists of vintage inspired fine apparel (made of velvet and silk) that reflect the designer’s love of Edwardian and Victorian era garments.
